John Sanders, Lead Instructor God has given John the opportunity to be involved in student ministry for over twenty years. He has written youth ministry devotional material and Bible study curriculum for Group Publishing and LifeWay Christian Resources. His ongoing work with the Florida Baptist Convention includes developing training curriculum for student pastors,which is offered as college-credit courses in cooperation with New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and serving on the executive team of Super Summer camp. He is the author of the iConnect Student Planner and Devotion series and is finalizing publication of (Dis)connected: Reaching the Electronic Generation, a book designed to help youth ministers understand the influence of media on teenagers. He has also been a camp pastor for Group Workcamps and several church groups across the United States. Recently he taught Christian Education courses at Leavell College in New Orleans, Louisiana and is currently the student pastor (among a couple of other things) at First Baptist Church in Tampa, Florida. John Sanders is a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree. Chris Shaffer, Director of Ministry Development Chris' passion is to lead students to understand and live out the truth of God's Word. He is in love with all things N.T. Wright and C.S. Lewis. Chris holds a Master's degree from Florida State University and is completing a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
