Congrats Courtney & Jonathan

This past weekend was AWESOME! I love seeing people come together as witnesses of an event that was established by God since the very beginning of time. For God is the originator of Marriage between a man and woman. Scripture says, “For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. If you are going to follow God’s plan for your life, whether it’s stepping into your calling or purpose, or taking the step into a marriage relationship, it will always involve LEAVING things behind. So many people get so afraid of taking the next step in anything, because they know it will involve leaving things behind. When Christ calls you to follow Him, He calls you to a life of LEAVING. Often times I meet with couples who don’t understand the seriousness of a marriage relationship and covenant. So prior to a wedding ceremony I meet with couples for pre-marital counseling. I get a chance to meet with them over a six week period. It’s cool to see the couples come in my office a little nervous because of the unknown. But by the time it’s over, they leave feeling loved and equipped to live out the Biblical principles of a Marriage relationship. It’s all about Christ. When speaking with Courtney, Jonathan, and the family, their desire was clear: we want God to be glorified during the wedding ceremony. And that’s exactly what happened. Jesus was, is, and will continue to be glorified. From the beginning of the ceremony until the end of the ceremony, Jesus was glorified.
