What an incredible month of ministry. So many lives impacted by Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit. Wherever we go, we know that the person of the Holy Spirit goes before us. We began the month of March with a marriage conference at Resurgent Church in Bedminster NJ followed by a marriage conference in Staten Island NY at International Christian Center. God continues to use us in the area of bringing hope and healing to marriages and families. People are receiving incredible breakthrough in the area of relationships. We are recognizing that pastors and leaders are sensing a renewed focus in the area of marriage and family.
The month began with 3 incredible services at Bethany Church in Wyckoff NJ. We truly enjoy getting the opportunity of serving alongside Pastor John and his wife Susie James every other month as a member of their preaching team. This has been such a blessing for us to be able to use our gifts within the Body of Christ in the role of an evangelist to impact the lives within the local church. We are seeing people get saved and filled with the Holy Spirit each weekend. We have enjoyed serving Bethany Church for the past year in this role. We are praying for more open doors to occur for greater impact.
Next, we were back ministering at our home church at Marlton Assembly of God. This is where we serve as staff evangelists. The beauty of this relationship is having a home base in order to live out accountability. Through this relationship we are able to serve on staff and keep us connected with what God is doing within a local church on a day to day basis. We have served in this position for 5 years. We assist Pastor Jon Wegner with championing the vision that the Lord has given him. We help fuel the prayer service and the spiritual temperature of the local church at Marlton Assembly of God in Marlton NJ. This has been a wonderful relationship and a place we call home for our family whenever we are not on the road.
Next, we traveled to Staten Island NY where we preached in 4 services and held a marriage and family seminar on Saturday. The best part of the weekend was being present as Emma Squibb, Pastor Ron Squibb’s wife, return to service for the first time in over 2 months, recovering from COVID. The Lord performed a miracle in that situation and we were present to celebrate with the church body. What a time of celebration it was that day! God is so good.
The final weekend of of March brought us to Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in East Brunswick NJ. God moved upon the hearts of young and old alike. Friday night, we witnessed a powerful move of the Holy Spirit with the emphasis being on students and the call of God upon their lives. Many gathered around the altars and waited on the Holy Spirit to speak and move. Saturday and Sunday were services that were filled with people committing their lives to Jesus as Lord and Savior. There was a move of the Spirit upon those services as we waited and received a word from the Lord through the operation of spiritual gifts within the body of Christ. It caused people to worship the Lord and magnify His name. Everyone knew the Lord was speaking and we were still in His presence.
We closed out the month of March the way it began: Holy Spirit filled! I had the opportunity of attending and ministering in the Holy Spirit conference at Bethany Church. The Lord spoke to my heart prophetically through the guest speakers who was leading one of the services on Monday night. It’s what I needed to hear. On Tuesday, the Lord laid a message on my heart. He accompanied His Word with signs and wonders, as many people committed their lives to Jesus and many rededicated their lives to Jesus. The presence of God was overwhelming.
