NJ Network Ministers School: Lancaster PA.

My family and I always look forward to Ministers School. It’s a time for NJ Assembly of God Ministers, their staff, and their families to get an opportunity to rest and refuel. Not too long after receiving Christ as my Savior, and serving as a Youth Pastor in Newark NJ, I was invited by our church leadership to come with my family to Ministers School. I didn‘t know what it was at the time, or what the purpose of it was, but I knew I needed to be there. I remember showing up in my early 20’s with the call of God on my life, and hungry to learn and grow in the things of God. Michelle and I were just newlyweds with two small children. We were so overwhelmed by the goodness of God at this retreat. Year after year, we sat amongst incredible leaders and teachers. We built relationships around the pool and golf course, even though I didn‘t know how to play the game. It was just about being with like-minded people who understood the highs and lows of life in ministry. We built so many lasting relationships at Ministers School. We’ve been attending now for the past 16 years. We are now serving the body in a different role as Evangelists. We have 5 children who are growing fast. Leadership in NJ at the State level within the AG has devloped and changed. But the focus remains the same. Jesus and His power remains the driving force behind this time of fellowship. We are no longer the youngest ministers in the bunch. My prayer is that God would continue to raise up the next generation of ministers within the NJ Ministry Network. We are not a perfect fellowship, but we are a family. Thank you New Jersey Ministry Network for a great time. #Regenerate #NJAG #NJMN
